Reflections and Advice:

1.) What do you think makes your school unique relative to other boarding schools?
while all schools brag about their community, Hun's is the real thing. As students, we worked really hard, but it never felt like a grind. Hun isn't an internally competitive place, but one where everyone gets along and supports each other.
2.) What was the best thing that happened to you in boarding school?
the whole experience was great.
3.) What might you have done differently during your boarding school experience?
probably would have gotten more involved...I was nervous.
4.) What did you like most about your school?
My friends...the kids are great, and the teachers are easy to get to know.
5.) Do you have any final words of wisdom for visiting or incoming students to your school?
It was great ...highly recommend

Academics:

1.) Describe the academics at your school - what did you like most about it?
small classes, easy to get extra help from teachers. Really challenging classes, but not a brutal grind.

Athletics:

1.) Describe the athletics at your school - what did you like most about it?
lots of opportunities for beginners and for serious athletes. You are required to play on two teams in 9th and 10th grade, but can focus more on one as you get older.coaches are great.

Art, Music, and Theatre:

1.) Describe the arts program at your school - what did you like most about it?
I didn't do much in this area, but went to the plays, and they were great, and the musical groups perform a lot. You do take two years of art...I loved woodworking and photography.

Extracurricular Opportunities:

1.) Describe the extracurriculars offered at your school - what did you like most about it?
There is a long list of clubs and activities...all the usual opportunities like yearbook, newspaper, etc., but also some unique ones like Fishing Club.

Dorm Life:

1.) Describe the dorm life in your school - what did you like most about it?
dorms are relatively small and very personal. Plenty of weekend activities. No Saturday classes which is huge, both so you can rest, but also so you can do more on the weekends. Being in Princeton is fantastic...we go to games at the University, restaurants etc. in town. Easy walking distance to town.

Dining:

1.) Describe the dining arrangements at your school.
One dining hall, but it isn't huge. It is actually nice and comfortable. Best part is it is open all day, so you can go in during free periods, study, have a bagel, meet a teacher.

Social and Town Life:

1.) Describe the school's town and surrounding area.
Princeton is amazing...upscale restaurants and shops. Princeton university right in town so you can go to sports, music etc.
2.) Describe the social life at your school - what did you like most about it?
Hun is very personal, and kids are relaxed. Not a hugely competitive or cliquey place. Kids are pretty comfortable with themselves and each other.
